Read MoreAs another school year begins, so do the ribbon cuttings. Being part of Davy Architecture, means delivering projects on time. We know opening school, camp, work, or church on time is your number one priority; that is why we have made it ours. Just this past month, we celebrated three (yes, three) ribbon cuttings for projects that were completed on time.
The completed projects were YMCA Camp Surf's new Dining Hall in Imperial Beach, Ivy High School in Fallbrook, and a new Veterans' Center for California State University San Marcos.
Picture this: Soft sand, surfing, sand sculptures, children's activities, delicious food and drinks, picturesque views, campfires and smores, and a great group of your family and friends. Sounds a little too good to be true, right? It's not!
The Davy Team had a blast wrapping up the summer at the YMCA Camp Surf for their Beach Party showcasing their recently completed Dining Hall. We couldn't ask for better friends or clients!
Can a company survive with employees that cannot work as a team? Probably not!
At Davy Architecture, we are fortunate enough to have a strong, committed team built on trust. How do you think we made this bowling ball levitate?
Thirty years...
A lot can happen in thirty years: marriage, children, children having children. But also, the growth of a firm. Davy Architecture has been lucky enough to cross the 30-year mark, with all of our limbs still in tact! We have learned a monumental amount about architecture, design, client relations... and of course, stress.
But none of it would have been attainable without our clients and friends. So, thank you for sticking by Davy Architecture throughout the years, watching us grow, and allowing us to watch you grow in return.
Founded in 1984 as Eric Davy, AIA & Associates, the firm initially provided services primarily to the speculative office, industrial and hospitality development communities. In 1991, We expanded into serving the public sector with projects for the U.S. Navy and Coronado Unified School District. Our diversification into school design was firmly established in 1995 when we won the Award for Outstanding Design and Planning for Mesa Ridge High School in Colorado Springs, CO. Having completed several medical office buildings, we added acute care hospital work to our portfolio beginning in 2012. Entering our second generation, we remain equally devoted to the needs of our clients and the integrity of our architecture; striving to bring value to every project.
We focus on cultivating client relationships and doing exemplary work while adhering to our core values of commitment, teamwork and environmental sustainability. We keep promises, build consensus and act in good faith on behalf of our clients. In so doing, we have earned a solid record of delivering successful projects.
